Future Lorena Cheerleaders is for children Kindergarten-6th grades. Cheerleading Camp is MANDATORY for first-time cheerleaders joining the Future Lorena Cheerleaders League. There will be no exceptions to this rule as it is imperative that every cheerleader attends camp to learn our cheers and dance routines. We only have a few weeks of practice before our first game, so going over the cheers/dance routines during practice is much easier than trying to teach them. We hope you understand.

Cheerleading uniforms, poms, and megaphones MUST be purchased through our League so they all coordinate with each other. All cheerleaders must have the uniform, poms, and a megaphone for all games. Solid white athletic shoes must be worn with the uniform. Also, hair must be pulled away from face for all practices and game days. Bows can be worn in hair in any Lorena school color (red, black, and/or white) and a black or red gymnastic shorts must be worn under the uniform skirt.

Cheerleaders are REQUIRED to attend all practices and game days. We understand there may be other circumstances that may arise and that's okay. It's not okay to keep missing practices or game days because this will only make your little one feel sad if she doesn't know the cheers or can't be there to support her TEAM. So, please try to commit to this program.

Flag Football Cheer Squads: (K-6th Grades)
We cheer for the Future Lorena Football teams on Saturday mornings at the Lorena HS football fields.  The first games usually start after labor day. Squads will be put together according to grades with the exception of Kinder, 1st, & 2nd. These grades are mixed together so they can help each other on the field. We will not move little sister to cheer for big brother's football team. They must stay within their own grade level, which is their experience levels.

Tackle Team Cheer Squad: (5th & 6th Grades)
Unfortunately, for the Fall 2025 season there will not be a tackle team. 

HOMECOMING PARADE:
We participate in the annual Lorena Homecoming Parade each year! This is very fun for the girls and a time for them to show their team spirit by roaring the crowd with their cheers! Information will be announced closer to the event date! Kindergarten does NOT participate in the parade as they will be preparing for the kinder walk.
